Thighs the size of tree trunks, similar to those that line the Colorado State oval, descended upon the university for the annual CSU Oval Criterium. Collegiate men and women, Cat 1-5 and pro riders attacked the picturesque course during the annual cycling event. Fans in attendance were treated with an afternoon of action that included lung-busting speed and aggressive attacks on the peloton. The race concluded with the men’s pro competition won by Joe Lewis of Team CLIF Bar Cycling. Unless you were on a bike yourself, there was no better way to enjoy a beautiful spring day.
