Nature Photography Workshop

Interested in nature photography?  Want to learn the fundamentals? Join Todd Newcomer for Nature Photography 101, a workshop for beginner and intermediate photographers.  During a fun and interactive workshop participants will:

  • learn about the different types of nature photography
  • get an introduction to the cameras and gear relevant to nature photography
  • understand camera functionality including metering modes and more
  • grasp the fundamentals of image exposure including ISO, shutter speed, aperture, and depth of field
  • learn about image composition and what goes into making a beautiful photograph
  • Much, much more!

Nature Photography 101 is a workshop for anyone looking to expand their photography skills regardless of their ability level or their access to camera equipment.  If you do have the following equipment please bring it to the workshop:

Dates and Cost

Todd Newcomer is offering Nature Photography 101 in collaboration with the phenomenal Fort Collins Recreator Program. The 4-hour workshop costs $45 and is available to participants 18 years and older.  The workshop will take place at the Fort Collins Senior Center on the following dates:

  • June 21, 2018 from 4 – 8pm
  • July 11, 2018 from 4 – 8pm
  • August 5, 2018 from 4 – 8pm
