Every August Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest arrives into Fort Collins with a celebratory crescendo.  This free, three-day music festival highlights the phenomenal homegrown music talent of Colorado along with three national acts that grace the main stage on Mountain Avenue each night. This year’s lineup included Blondi, The Motet and up-and-coming acts such as The Gasoline Lollipops, Rayland Baxter and many more. As a favorite festival of many local and national bands the quest to perform in Old Town continues to grow. Fortunately, Colorado music fans reap the extraordinary benefits from having a free festival that continues to gain in popularity within the music community. As The Decemberists closed out this year’s festival, fans and musicians alike will have to wait patiently for the announcement of next year’s lineup.
